Lifecycle Coverage Services

Strategy, Assessment &
Road Map Development



FourPoint typically is engaged to assess a client's current state and develop a future enterprise road map. This service can be engaged in full or depending on the actual current state and objectives of the client, the approach can be modified to provide any level of blueprint.


The assessment helps answer questions on business strategies, recommended macro requirements and organization, solution platforming, prioritization and subsequent phasing of business initiatives, capital budgets and resource capacities.



Solution Definition, Identification & Selection



This service covers the development of detailed business systems requirements following the development of a road map or as the initial starting point for a known initiative. Business organization, operations and processes are created, refined or updated as part of a larger systems initiative or as part of a process improvement or re-engineering initiative.


For systems initiatives, solution alternatives are determined and leading options are identified. Gap analysis based system selection efforts are executed for each solution with multiple leading options.



Operations, Organization, Process and System Design



Detailed functional approaches and designs are developed that either drive package configuration, modification and enhancement, or custom-solution technical designs and development.


Integration designs and development between internal solutions are executed as well as to external service providers and third party entities.


Detailed operations and processes are designed and aligned to solution designs if a systems initiative. Organizational roles, responsibilities and measures are detailed and confirmed .





Implementation & Cut-Over



Implementation and cut-over activities include multiple levels of solution system testing, conversion activities, transition activities and detailed check list development and execution for system related projects.


New or updated business operations and processes are rolled out supported by user procedures, training and active change management. Organizational changes are formalized and incorporated into the business changes.





Enterprise Services



Overarching FourPoint's life-cycle services are enterprise services. Core to every FourPoint engagement is the consulting component of ensuring that all assessments, definitions, designs and project results are developed holistically, always with a client's strategic directions, interests and objectives in mind.



Solution Design and Architecture



FourPoint consultants ensure that the overall enterprise design is intertwined in all lifecycle services. Many clients engage FourPoint specifically in the role as a business functional or enterprise solution architect. This role is responsible for making sure that client strategies are defined and drive all of the subsequent detail requirements, designs and business organization, operations and process alignments. The Solution Design Architect role usually is heavily involved in all lifecycle services.



Program and Change Coordination



Across all services are elements of program and project management. Same as the Solution Design role, FourPoint associates can serve specifically in a Program Management role and guide and manage all phases and sub-projects within the overall program or enterprise initiative.
